Adios, Neil Armstrong
"That's a rather large step for a man . . . one giant leap for Mankind."
You don't remember it that way, do you? That's because the first transmission was edited before sending it out as the second and subsequent playbacks. Everybody remembers it as "That's one small step for [a] man . . . one giant leap for Mankind."
On July 20th, 1969 a friend of mine was recording the TV broadcast with a friend in his bedroom with an Ampex reel to reel recorder. That was about the same time I was watching it "live" on TV. When the replay began, he and his friend noticed a slight change in the wording. After a few replayed broadcasts, they ran the tape back and heard what was originally broadcast.
The reason given for the discrepancy, several years later, was because the bottom rung of the lunar landing module was a few feet from the bottom - where the lunar surface was. The engineers didn't know how soft the lunar surface might be, and how far the lander might sink into the surface, so they apparently planned for the lander sinking into the surface by several inches and left several inches extra on the bottom of the ladder, as well.
The lunar surface proved to be somewhat compact, leaving the bottom rung of the ladder several inches higher than the engineers (and Armstrong) expected. In the suit, he couldn't bend his knees very far and had to literally jump off the bottom rung to get to the surface. What he actually said reflected his immediate response, but was not according to the script as practiced before the landing.
So they edited it with what was a pre-recorded "transmission", or re-recording a live transmission.
That's what the world remembers him saying, as that'sn the only re-transmission that is replayed and officially acknowledged.

Without racism there would be no races . . . or even a single race. Mixing all races into one would result in the LCD or Lowest Common Denominator (behaviorally) also known as the Least Competent DNA.

Independence Day. Really?
I was wondering what, if anything, would be appropriate to post today, 236 years after a group of men decided they'd had enough of tyranny. Wandering around YouTube took me down a very dark path, where videos of:
1) a college kid being beaten unconscious by three cops for nothing more than skipping down a street
2) a man sitting in front of his house being tased and then jumped by ten cops
3) a cop who broke an 84 year old man's neck for "touching" him
4) a woman who was tasered for not signing a traffic ticket
5) a group of poor people who have squatted on an abandoned military base ("Slab City" in Imperial county Calif.) who were confronted by police for not having "permits"
. . . and several more showed me that we have come full circle from tyranny to tyranny. Only this time it's the kind we may have much more trouble getting out from under than what a mere King back in England could impose on us. Now we have drones that can not only spy on us from several hundred feet in the sky above us, but take us out if our Usurper-in-Chief decides we are "enemy combatants". This is a decision that he alone may make, and is now legally justified in doing so, thanks to his unchallenged abuse of power via executive orders, statutes, public laws, policies and procedures.
So what did we fight for, some nebulous idea that we would eventually be a free people in the country our forefathers built?
Ann Coulter gave a little reprieve in her article today posted to World Net Daily:
http://www.wnd.com/2012/07/on-july-4-remember-we-are-not-french/
However, in reading a comment I was reminded that in fact we never did actually get out from under British rule, as most of us were taught in schools. All one has to do is read the works of The Informer or those of his fellow researcher James Montgomery (much of which was hosted at a now defunct website atgpress.com but can be found in bits and pieces here and there if you but look).
Thankfully a website for Montgomery's published work - "The United States Is Still A British Colony" - still exists. It can be found here:

Memorial. To whom? Sad patsies and dupes conscripted to do the bidding of global corporate masters?
Does anybody really understand what, or more precisely, WHO has been behind every war since 1850 (or thereabouts)? Does anybody know what room in the Waldorf Astoria every one of those wars has been directed from? By the same "person"?
Ever wonder why Lichtenstein has banks that will set up an account IN PERPETUITY? Who would need such an account?
Is the image atop the cliff one of a Hungarian lion holding up its lyin' king, or an Amos 'n Andy Raggedy doll - minus Anne (an image that probably has Disney spinning in his grave)?
Is the game the Big Zero's playing with our Vegas-style economy Baccarat, Russo-Hungarian roulette, or just plain ol' alley cat craps (a la Fritz)?
Pay close attention, Seekers. The dates and times of postings have a pattern. YOU discern them.

On Richard Dawkins
He's not a real scientist, you know. A REAL scientist would be willing to actually LOOK at the data presented by other scientists, no matter how odd or unconforming to the "standard" models and theories. They are, after all, still only models and theories.
No, this man is merely a stuffed shirt of the ilk I used to work with in so-called academia - a mere politician in a lab coat who can do no more than attempt character assassination if someone presents information having to do with anything outside his own direct experience, or the "acceptable" reality. He is nothing more than another "yes man" in a long line of government supported stooges who will some day wake up on the other side - and be pleasantly surprised that he was so wrong about so many things.

Spirit-night
Forty one years ago tonight
I committed my soul to peace
Forty one years of strife and life
have committed my path to war.
What was that calling my heart and mind
to light across distant shores?
I remember it well, that night.
About a dozen of us, young and old, stood quietly waiting upon an old priest to pray the ritual he'd intoned perhaps a thousand times before. This man who bore the name of an Irish Patriot of several decades before, who, in a manner similar to his namesake, would be gunned down a few years later outside his own church doors, prepared himself against the unseen forces gathering to thwart the plans of these few innocents.
It was a night like no other. No mere "Santana" winds blew, this was the flight of the Holy Spirit across the land. We, each of us newborn babes in old skins, looked at each other and recognized what the winds suggested as they moaned and then howled through the doors - and KNEW that it was not the usual Southern California storm typical of Winter. As we donned the white garments signifying a freshly forgiven soul, and repeated the formula which would grant us the much-needed cleansing, we prepared for decades-long battles, though we did not comprehend it at the time. But Something inside us knew . . .
Now my Saints have left me. Mystics have traded their places for pretenders. Betty Whipple, holy mother, devoted wife, my Godmother and spiritual teacher to many, knows the Presence directly, as does Father Michael Collins, and Father Aloysius Ellacuria. Holy people, one and all, and many others who were friends and family are now lost to time and circumstance. Only charlatans remain to dupe and deceive the pure of heart who seek Truth in sincerity.
I stand alone of my kind, waiting the hour of the beast, who we jokingly called "charlie" with a small "c". Waiting for the abomination to make his appearance in the Temple, foretold so long ago. Waiting for the ultimate war - the REAL "War to end all Wars". I feel the gathering of spirits on the Other Side, slowly churning the ethers, the impending Doom. Skirmishes there are reflected here in the physical. Wars, and rumors of wars, are commonplace. Hardly anyone remembers the Old Code anymore.
But we few, who stand ready, wait with the patience of Job for the final onslaught. We few, unknown to each other except in spirit, scattered across the globe, which some call Home and others know as a brief waystation, a battlefield in the aeons-long struggle upward, we who were chosen, not merely called, wait for the single unmistakable clarion.
It is almost upon us . . . do you hear it? It blows on the Winter Wind, when the night is long and dark. Have faith, you few. Our Time is almost at hand.

The facts of life: an open letter to my son Jeramiah Liles (Part 1)
First, happy birthday.
I've wanted to say that to you for many years but, due to circumstances which will become clear, I was unable to until now. I hope each one has been a happy event in your life. I also hope that each day in between has been everything your true self, your spirit, your essence, needed for you to become who you were meant to be in this life. I trust that your angels have watched over you, guided you and that you have and always will listen to them and that others around you who have forgotten their true origins have not had such influence to cause you to forget yours.

"Constitution" (a.k.a. re-incorporation) Day
222 years ago the FIRST corporation that colonial Americans had lived under was 'modified'. That's what it says in the 'Preamble' to the 1787 Constitution. A mere nine years after the founders of the nation had formed a Confederacy, they were forming a 'more perfect' union among the States. That union was ALREADY called The United States of America, according to Article I of the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union.
So . . . what was wrong with the FIRST United States of America?
For one thing, there is no mention of individuals (referred to as 'inhabitants' of the States) having any 'rights'. They are granted 'privileges', but no rights are mentioned except those enjoyed by the States. Nice to see that some of those same men eventually recognized this as lacking in the first contract, and corrected it in the second (only by amendment, as if in hindsight), but that is not the point of this post. The purpose is to point out that BOTH documents were literally articles of INCORPORATION.
Or didn't you get that when you were studying 'government' in high school? Your teachers didn't tell you (probably because they themselves hadn't thought in these terms?) that this was a compact, an agreement, a contract between STATES, and the men who 'belonged' to those States. It was probably not explained to you, nor did you stop to think about it, because your English instructors didn't give you a proper grounding in the language, that (as is so clearly pointed out toward the end of the Preamble to the 1787 Constitution) this new, or modified corporation, was set up for the benefit of THOSE men who signed it and THEIR posterity.
It was not set up for your benefit. It was not set up for the benefit of anybody else living at that time. It was set up for the landed gentry of the day, specifically the ones who actually signed the document, their CHILDREN and descendants (see Noah Webster's 1828 dictionary definition of the word 'posterity', if you don't believe this), anybody who followed them in their offices, of course, and NOBODY else.
So, my question is: why do we keep 'defending' this document with our lives, our children's lives, and our fortunes if the ONLY beneficiaries of the corporation are the wealthy who hold those offices and THEIR children?
Something to think about . . .

In the 234th year of our "declared" independence . . .
Thus begins our 234th year of 'declared' independence from the British Crown, our 'perceived' independence from rule by pretenders to the aristocracy. But are we really free of that influence and power?
One might argue that point, as 'The Informer' and James Montgomery do in their writings which can be found on these two websites:
http://www.atgpress.com
http://www.civil-liberties.com/books
When one digests all that is presented there, one sees that we have NEVER been free of control by England or the forces concentrated there - specifically 'The City' of London - and I make the distinction between that global trading arena and the city of London. Look it up. Until one realizes that we are STILL controlled and manipulated by political and economic forces far larger than we can imagine, one is incapable of grasping that we are, quite literally, slaves to one degree or another. Nothing has changed over the centuries. Our forefathers knew that on this day 234 years ago. They knew that something had to be done about their condition, else they would soon become slaves in fact, and not just in theory or through their pocketbooks. They were probably already talking about the "R" word (and the attendant "T" word) in pubs all across New England. How many of them knew, I wonder, that before the year was out, they would see the signing of a document that cemented all their hopes into one idea - that we ARE and do declare our independence from the usurpers of the world.
How many could have even guessed that 234 years AFTER that declaration, we would of necessity be considering the "R" word again, and for much the same reasons? This is likely going to be the year we either resolve to throw off the economic and political chains once again, and perhaps for good this time, or slide down that slippery slope to oblivion.

Boston - 234 years ago
It was on this night that a beginning was made in 'the new world', and an old world began to come to an end. That old world, ruled by a despot, acceded to by smaller minded would-be despots, reached across the globe. Indeed, it was said that "The Sun never sets on the British Empire", as it had colonies on nearly every continent. But, as the Sun slowly set in the West on this one night, men who were bone-weary of that tyrant's ever increasing greed, paid for with taxes on almost every essential item of life, and the enforcement of his rule by his far-flung henchmen, gathered to demonstrate their resolve to end that rule. Before the night was over, 342 wooden chests of tea had been dumped into Boston Harbor from the 3 ships that held them. 200 men, dressed up as Mohawks, had done the deed, out of a crowd of some 5,000 - 7,000 people who had gathered at the docks. About 4% of the gathered crowd had decided to act, rather than just merely complain about the 'tea tax' and then submissively pay it. That was about 2% of the estimated population of Boston.
History shows that about 2% of the people are required to make any significant change. It was estimated that about 2% of the American colonial population desired freedom from tyranny, about 2% were Royalists (loyal to the Crown) and the rest couldn't be bothered with fighting for the freedoms that they enjoyed - at the cost of 4,435 lives and 6,188 wounded, out of the estimated 217,000 who eventually fought in that war. Luckily another 5% of the colonial population saw the light and threw in with the 2% who started the war for independence.
Today it would take about 1.5 million to free this country from the oppression we face in the coming years. That's based on an approximate 70 million males old enough to actually do something. That's if they could first be convinced there actually IS something worth fighting for, other than their 9-5 barely more than minimum wage jobs, Monday night football and a Wally World on every other corner selling toxic Chinese toys to their children.
I wonder if we're capable of changing things around in time to avoid the eventual "Mad Max" scenario Mssrs. Miller and Gibson so prophetically outlined for us 28 years ago. Can we bring an end to this nightmare world we have so complacently accepted, or is it about to bring an end to us?

All endings must have a beginning . . .
In the first days of Autumn, after much reflection on the past few years, my recently passed older teachers and friends, and my own mortality, I begin.
These thoughts are not intended to be so much a long-running epitaph (though they may turn out to be exactly that) as much as an instruction to a younger, more vigorous generation on the state of things - both seen and unseen. Perhaps they will show a way forward out of the mess America has become in the late 20th - early 21st century. Perhaps these youthful people I direct my words to will take the hint and actually DO something about it, instead of acceding to the thought control so all-pervasive and prevalent among the "XYZ (read:TV) generation".
And so . . . on to the bean field.
